Camps

joecrispin.jpgAt this point, we have solidified one camp for the upcoming summer and are in the process of tentatively planning a few others.

The first camp will run from June 23-27 at Pitman High School in Pitman, NJ. Actually, the week will feature two camps: a morning session for grades 6-8 and an afternoon session for grades 9-12. The focus is teaching and drilling the fundamentals of the game. Each day will have a different emphasis, so that by the end of the week, the various aspects of the game will be adequately covered. Each camp is limited to 35 players. The price of the camp is $100 for Pitman residents and $125 for those living elsewhere. Click here for more information.

A second camp possibility would be one led by Joe (and Jon if possible) in State College, PA. This is still in the preliminary planning stages and may not happen this summer, but the hope is to work with Victory Sports and Fitness to provide a more comprehensive camp experience. The set-up will probably be similar to our camp in Pitman. High-intensity work for about 3 hours from anywhere from 3-5 days. Each session, however, will consist of 1 hour led by Rob Oshinskie of Victory Sports. He will focus on speed and agility work. We will then lead 2 hours of focused basketball work. This set-up is particularly exciting to me because it provides the camper with a great deal of expertise not only on basketball, but strength training, speed, movement, etc.

Two other possibilities that we are currently talking about is a camp in Harrison Twp. and a camp in California. Surely it won’t all happen this summer, but Lord willing, someday they may.

Naturally, more information will be released through our Announcements section (and by changing this page). And, of course, if you have any questions at all about upcoming camps, please contact us.
