Another Good Win

It turned out to be a close one, but thankfully, we got the win at home against Forli.  92-90 in Overtime.  It probably should not have been that close, but I have to credit Forli with making some big plays and big shots.

I actually missed two game winning shots, but thankfully, my teammate put in the rebound in OT for the victory.  I ended the game with 20 points on 7-12 shooting and 5 assists.  Our next game is this coming Friday on the road at Ferrara.  We are now 6-2 and in sole possession of third place.

General Update

By way of a general update, I will say that my Barcellona squad is now 5-2. We have been playing well, as our only two losses came in overtime, on the road. And one of them should of been a win, because the referees really blew it at the end.

All in all, I have been playing well and hope it can continue. Our next game is this coming Sunday at home against Forli. I will try to remember to write up an update as to how it goes.

Great Road Win

My squad and I got a great road win yesterday in Pistoia.  Their team is a good one and their arena, a difficult place to play.  We gained control of the game early and more or less, kept control of the game throughout.  They took the lead on only 3 or 4 occasions, but all in the final 4 or 5 minutes of the game.  W responded each time with a bucket to take the lead right back and ended up winning 74-69.

I didn’t shoot the ball well at all and overall, had difficulty finding a rhythm.  I ended with 17 points on 6-21 shooting (tough to write, but true!), but also had 6 rebounds and 6 assists.  It really was a good and enjoyable win for our team.  Next up, Veroli this Friday night at home on TV.  Should be a fun and challenging one.
