Training Options

As mentioned on the homepage, though we aim to run a few camps a year together, we spend most of the year apart from one another. Jon lives in Los Angeles, California and is available there throughout the year. I (Joe) make my home in Glassboro, New Jersey, but normally spend most of the year in a foreign country playing professionally. I am usually available for training, however, during the late Spring and Summer months.

Jon is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and as such, well-equipped to train people of all ages in weight training, agility and speed work, etc. Yet he also enjoys helping basketball players take their game to the next level. His approach for basketball training is naturally then, quite holistic, and in turn, quite effective. Between his personal training experience and his basketball experience at both Penn State and UCLA, he is well equipped to help young players improve upon every aspect of their game. More information on the various training options he offers will soon be found by clicking here or on the title above.

As for me (Joe), I am not yet an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, though I plan to become one sometime in the next couple of years. Not so much because I want to train people in the various ways that Jon does, but because as a professional player, I want to know what I am doing myself! That being said, my aim is also to become a better trainer/teacher and, if God grants me the years, one day, a Coach. Anyhow, my training focus right now is on helping young players better understand and enjoy the game of the basketball. And I am very confident that my experience as a professional player has equipped me to do just that. The ways in which I am able to do so can be found by clicking here or on the title above.
